Miguel—a Tejerías local—is volunteering with WCK to distribute meals to families that lost homes when tropical storm Julia caused landslides in the Venezuelan city.

Ted drove more than 1300 miles from Michigan down to southern Florida to assess the damage to his home from Hurricane Ian. After cleaning all day, he stopped to sit and enjoy a WCK meal from our restaurant partner, El Orgullo. #ChefsForFlorida

Before becoming a Category 1 hurricane, Julia hit Venezuela with heavy rains, causing landslides that washed away homes & killed over 40 people in Las Tejerías. WCK’s Relief Team reached the town the day after the storm and has delivered thousands of meals to impacted families.
