Michael Schumacher recorded the fastest lap at #LeMans24 in his first appearance at La Sarthe in 1991, with the Sauber Mercedes C11. Mick Schumacher could repeat his dad's achievement in 2024 with the Alpine Endurance Team (📸) A424.

.Alex Palou Montalbo is the first Spanish driver to make their #LeMans24 debut in the top #WEC class since Fernando Alonso in 2018, who won the race.

.Ferrari Hypercar's Antonio Fuoco recorded the fastest lap at #LeMans24 2023 - 3:27.218, becoming the first Italian driver to achieve this distinction since Alessandro Nannini in 1984, in a Ferrari-powered Lancia LC2.

Victory at Spa 2024 by Will Stevens & Callum Ilott takes the United Kingdom to 38 outright #WEC wins, tied with both France and Japan for second-most by drivers in the series. All three of these nations sit one win behind Switzerland's 39.

2024 is the first time two different Porsches have won a #WEC race overall within the first three rounds of a season - Porsche Penske #6 in Qatar and Hertz Team Jota #12 in Spa.

The #2 919 Hybrid won two of the first three races in 2016, which included #LeMans24 .

🥳 In the team’s 65th #WEC race, Jota Sport claimed its first Hypercar win at Spa 2024, and its 20th win across all classes and team names.

🇬🇧 A first win in Imola for Darren Leung saw him become the 35th British driver to win in the #WEC , matching France’s total for the most by any nation. At Spa, Callum Ilott claimed his first victory, taking the UK's total to 36 winners, and the series' new most.

Before Spa 2024, P5 was the lowest position an LMGT3 car had started from, to then finish on the podium.

At Spa, Manthey PureRxcing #92 started P9, and finished P2, whilst Iron Lynx #60 made up an incredible 14 positions to finish P3 from a start of P17.

Stevens is the third current or former F1 driver from the UK to win a #WEC race outright, after McNish/Davidson. This is the new most by a nation, ahead of Germany (Lotterer/Hulkenberg), Japan (Nakajima/Kobayashi), Spain (Gene/Alonso) & Brazil (di Grassi/Senna).

📉 Jota Sport #12 (41) and emamotorsportau #91 (22) combined to lead just 63 of the 271 laps the two winners completed at Spa, or 23.2%. 63 laps led by the winners is only the second double-digits total in #WEC , after 55 led from 64 raced at Fuji 2013.

.Ferrari Hypercar's (📸) #50 crew of Nielsen/Fuoco/Molina is the 6th to achieve five overall podiums in Hypercar, after Buemi/Hartley/Nakajima, Lapierre/Negrao/Vaxiviere, Conway/Kobayashi/Lopez, Buemi/Hartley/Hirakawa & Lotterer/Estre/Vanthoor, but the only one yet to win a race.

20 - Spa 2024 staged the 20th time a two-driver crew representing the same nation has won in a major #WEC class, with Italian, French, British and Danish duos achieving the feat in GTE Pro, and British driver duos winning in LMP2, GTE Am and overall.

After Spa 2024, seven #WEC victories in a prototype class have been achieved by a crew of drivers representing just one nation. Four of these have been by Jota Sport-run (📸) cars.
