Michael Schumacher recorded the fastest lap at #LeMans24 in his first appearance at La Sarthe in 1991, with the Sauber Mercedes C11. Mick Schumacher could repeat his dad's achievement in 2024 with the Alpine Endurance Team (๐ธ) A424.
.Alex Palou Montalbo is the first Spanish driver to make their #LeMans24 debut in the top #WEC class since Fernando Alonso in 2018, who won the race.
Palou's Chip Ganassi Racing teammate for 2024 @EarlBamber also won overall on his top-class debut at La Sarthe in 2015.

.Ferrari Hypercar's Antonio Fuoco recorded the fastest lap at #LeMans24 2023 - 3:27.218, becoming the first Italian driver to achieve this distinction since Alessandro Nannini in 1984, in a Ferrari-powered Lancia LC2.

Victory at Spa 2024 by Will Stevens & Callum Ilott takes the United Kingdom to 38 outright #WEC wins, tied with both France and Japan for second-most by drivers in the series. All three of these nations sit one win behind Switzerland's 39.
๐ฌ๐ง A first win in Imola for Darren Leung saw him become the 35th British driver to win in the #WEC , matching Franceโs total for the most by any nation. At Spa, Callum Ilott claimed his first victory, taking the UK's total to 36 winners, and the series' new most.

๐ Jota Sport #12 (41) and emamotorsportau #91 (22) combined to lead just 63 of the 271 laps the two winners completed at Spa, or 23.2%. 63 laps led by the winners is only the second double-digits total in #WEC , after 55 led from 64 raced at Fuji 2013.
.Ferrari Hypercar's (๐ธ) #50 crew of Nielsen/Fuoco/Molina is the 6th to achieve five overall podiums in Hypercar, after Buemi/Hartley/Nakajima, Lapierre/Negrao/Vaxiviere, Conway/Kobayashi/Lopez, Buemi/Hartley/Hirakawa & Lotterer/Estre/Vanthoor, but the only one yet to win a race.
