#6hSpa 2023 staged the first-ever Ferrari - Corvette - Aston Martin podium in #WEC , with this the first new GTE Am order since Bahrain 2021, which was also won by Ferrari #83. In 2024, both Ferrari and Corvette are still hunting a first LMGT3 podium.

💪 Proton Competition (📸) contests its 88th #WEC race at #6hSpa 2024, with number 88 adorning a Ford Performance Mustang LMGT3 this season. Proton has three wins in Spa (GTE Pro in 2012, GTE Am in 2019 & 2022), whilst the Ford GT achieved its final GTE Pro victory in Belgium in 2018.

With Andrea Caldarelli debuting in Hypercar at #6hSpa , more Italian drivers will have raced in the top-class in the last year (Bortolotti, Bruni, Fuoco, Giovinazzi, Mortara, Pier Guidi), than the entire LMP1 era (Belicchi, Bonanomi, Capello, Ghiotto, Luizzi, Ruberti.

3 - Porsche Team Penske tied Ferrari Hypercar on six total #WEC Hypercar podiums at #6hImola , for the 3rd-most in class, behind TOYOTA GAZOO Racing WEC's 33 podiums and Alpine Endurance Team's 11.

⏱️ The early stages of #6hImola 2024 saw the #WEC complete its 750th hour of racing, coming 4,418 days after its first at Sebring 2012. The 250th hour was achieved at Fuji 2015, and the 500th hour at Silverstone 2019.

#6hImola 2024 staged the 2nd-closest finish between two rival #WEC Hypercar marques, with 7.081 seconds separating Toyota #7 & Porsche #6, including a 5s penalty for #6. Only at Monza 2022 was the gap smaller, 2.762 secs between Alpine #36 & Toyota #8.

🤝 #6hImola saw Mike Conway's run of winning with all of his #WEC teammates continue, whilst Nyck de Vries mirrored the footsteps of Conway, by winning their second race for TOYOTA GAZOO Racing WEC, whilst already being a race-winner in the LMP2 class.

🇬🇧 Jota Sport (📸) #12’s lineup for #6hSpa comprises Will Stevens & Callum Ilott.

The first #WEC victory by a two-driver lineup in a prototype class came at Spa in 2012, by Jota’s British LMP2 pairing of Simon Dolan & Sam Hancock.

Toyota #7 won #6hlmola from a starting position of P6, marking just the second time in 87 #WEC races that an overall victory has come from this position, after Audi #2 at Le Mans 2014. P6 is the
2nd-lowest starting position by an outright winner in series history.

#6hSpa will be the second #WEC race to feature a two-driver Hypercar lineup, not only by Cadillac #2 again, but also for Jota #12, Peugeot #93 and Peugeot #94 due to a clash with Formula E.

📈 At #WEC #6hImola , Lamborghini Squadra Corse posted a laptime closer to the fastest (2.396 seconds down vs 2.545), a higher top speed (320.5 kmh vs 302.5), qualified higher (P16 vs P18) and finished higher (P12 vs P13), compared to their performance in Qatar. Comforts.

🔴⚪️ Sean Gelael is the 20th driver to win #WEC races in both prototype and GT machinery, whilst also becoming the first Asian driver to win in any two major classes: three LMP2 victories and one in LMGT3, all with WRT - W Racing Team.

After #6hImola , Peugeot Sport (📸) has now completed 5,185 laps in its 12 races with the 9X8, and overtakes byKolles for the 5th-most laps completed by a top-class #WEC team. Peugeot shares the top-five with Toyota, Audi, Porsche LMP1 Team and Rebellion.

In nine races, Porsche Team Penske’s 19 entries with the 963 have raced for just 11km more than Ferrari Hypercar’s 18 entries with the 499P. Both teams have won one race & achieved five more podiums; one P2 and four P3 for Porsche, two P2 and three P3 for Ferrari.

With Isotta Fraschini Milano Fabbrica Automobili #11 finishing its home race #6hImola in P17, every model of car to compete in the #WEC Hypercar class has now been classified in a race - a feat the LMP1 class did not achieve (Dome - Judd at Le Mans 2012 and Nissan GT-R LM at Le Mans 2015).
