Our Avon Valley redshank have almost all finished breeding and are heading off to their coastal summer grounds. Please keep a look out for colour ringed birds especially around the Hampshire coast, every sighting is hugely valuable to the project! #ornithology

Look at all those wader footprints! At least 2 pairs of lapwing and 2 pairs of redshank with chicks using this scrape, protected by an electric fence and with the removal of crows they have a pretty good chance at success! #conservation
