Drivers crash into 7-11 so frequently that 7-11 lost a $91M lawsuit for failing to protect a customer *inside* the store with bollards. We are so under the tyranny of motordom, it’s on property owners to prevent and pay for their own destruction, injuries and deaths.

What if we started putting more of an emphasis on the people getting in and out of the cars in parking lots rather than their cars?
That’s what we prototyped in PG, creating a space that can serve the cars but protects the people more. Jaime Resendez AARP Livable Communities AARP Texas Toyota USA

This unsafe condition has to stop. A private company is using a public roadway as their personal loading dock, endangering the lives of cyclists and all road users. They do it every day and have been for years.

This is much needed - I always found it so weird that the supposedly grand central street named 'Elysian Fields' in Paris was actually an unpleasant traffic sewer.

Disastrous US pedestrian safety trends are due in part to vehicle design. Massive vehicles with high front ends have vast blind spots. We have been here before. Long front ends have also limited drivers’ views. In 1941 automotive engineer Arthur Stevens proposed this redesign.

Hi 311 Toronto PEO Erin Urquhart can we get some help at Sherbourne & Esplanade? The “sidewalk closed” sign is in the middle of the 🚲 lane & forces pedestrians across the street with no crossing. Not to mention vehicles parked there all the time. The Biking Lawyer (Dave Shellnutt)
