I attended this event last night (I have before, it's always a great event) — but found it weird that someone right inside the door took these flyers from everyone who walked in with one.

Glad they had stickers so I could wear mine in solidarity with Washingtonian 🌸 reporters!

Now more than ever with so many layoffs in DC journalism, we must uplift the women in the field.

That means a living wage, dignity, respect & a strong union contract for Washingtonian Guild staff who make Washingtonian magazine possible.

If you want to celebrate women in journalism, it's time to pay your female staff a livable wage Merrill Williams.
