The Warragamba Dam spill rate has now reduced to 19 Gigalitres (GL)/day, and continues to decrease. Other Sydney dams spilling as at 11am Monday are Tallowa, Nepean and Woronora dams and the Blue Mountains storages, except Upper and Middle Cascades. Follow @BOM & NSW SES.

Warragamba Dam is spilling at a rate of 31 gigalitres (GL)/day and decreasing. Water continues to flow into the dam from streams in the catchment, but this is slowing. Follow @BOM & NSW SES

Warragamba reached capacity and started to spill at 5.45am, receiving 100mm over 6hrs, with up to 200mm in 24hrs in some areas. The dam is spilling water at around 200 GL/day, with that rate continuing to rise.

Following heavy rainfall overnight across Sydney's water supply catchments, Warragamba Dam is at full capacity and started spilling at 5:45am. Follow Bureau of Meteorology, New South Wales for flood advice and warnings and the NSW SES as the lead agency for emergency information.
