To improve your marriage, there are times when you have to have difficult conversations with the intent of getting better. Be open to feedback. Deal with the real issues. But don’t criticize. Construct. Don’t break down. Build up.

Your spouse isn't a mind reader (or good at figuring out hints), if you need them to know something, just tell them.

If you have a partner who is good at the things you aren’t, does the chores you hate, encourages daily ... then you've got what the fairy-tales fail to mention.

You don't need someone to complete you, but marriage has a way of balancing you out.

We must learn how to fight; how to get in the game and fight fiercely together FOR our marriage instead of AGAINST each other.
