I had a wonderful visit to the Black History Month festival at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust 🏥
I was treated to a tour of several wards and departments, which gave me the chance to thank staff for all their efforts through the pandemic.

It was a real pleasure to visit Bushbury Hill Primary School as the Guest of Honour for their Black History Month Assembly. I was humbled to be selected as one of the school's BHM Heroes, after an incredible month. It is a real privilege to see Wolverhampton's next generation #daretodream
As a thank you to Jay Blades MBE for speaking at my 'Dare to Dream' event last night and for helping us raise money for my Mayoral charities, we got him this hat from BloomsMenswear. We look forward to seeing it on the next series of The Repair Shop !
Thank you to Jay Blades MBE and Sharlie Morais for hosting my very special Dare to Dream event tonight for #BlackHistoryMonth and to everyone who came along. More pics: flic.kr/s/aHBqjAcXGT
In partnership with Wolves Council, young people were nominated across the city to attend an inspirational event, with a fantastic line up of speakers. Sharing their own experiences and empowering the next generation. #BlackHistoryMonth #TimeForChange #ActionNotWords

Absolute pleasure to be joined by WolvesMayor for one of our #FeedOurPack activity sessions this morning at Fallings Park Primary School! 🏫
As part of their October half-term camp, the children made a delicious fruit crumble with the help of Cook Stars-Solihull 🧑🍳
Last night Wolverhampton continued to celebrate #Diwali2022 with Hit the Dhol Diwali Mela event, where we saw some fantastic performances at the Bob Jones Community Hub from our younger generation.
We are spending the morning at Fallings Park Primary School along with the Wolves Foundation
As part of their 'Feed our Pack ' campaign we are going to show a group of young pupils how to make a fruit crumble pudding from fresh ingredients.
Looks delicious!
Today the Deputy Mayor attended the Nova Training Open Day, based in Wolverhampton. The Team there provided a guided tour of the facilities, as well as talks through programmes for adults, employers & young people, recruitment events & new initiatives that they offer.
