This evening in the City Suite we play host to St John Ambulance (Pendeford) for their 30th Anniversary commemorations and awards ceremony.
Over 40 volunteers, all giving freely of their time, to learn and develop vital lifesaving skills.

A while ago we were invited to a very colourful and lively traditional celebration of the yam harvest by the Igbo community resident here in Wolverhampton.
I was delighted to return the favour by inviting a few of their number along to the Parlour for afternoon tea.

The Black Country's adoption agency, Adoption at Heart, celebrates its 5th birthday. Run by the 4 councils, it gas gone from strength to strength finding permanent homes forbour most vulnerable children. I pay tribute to all involved, thank you for your hard work and dedication.

We were delighted to join the Ahmiddaya Muslim Youth Association to celebrate their Voices for Peace Iftar, never in recent times has the call for world peace been more relevant.

A weekend of religious celebrations began with the Walk of Witness on Good Friday to celebrate Easter.
