On Sky News Australia w Rita Panahi re male sex offender in VIC’s women’s prison. Politicians talk a big game when it comes to ending violence against women, but when there’s an actual issue to resolve, they all go MIA. It’s hypocrisy at it’s worst.

A coalition of Australian women have submitted a 21page document stating the wrongs of housing a male sex offender in Victoria’s Dame Phyllis Frost Women’s Prison to the UN Subcommittee on the Prevention of Torture, in an effort to get him removed & uphold women’s human rights.

UK Lord Chancellor & Minister of Justice said convicted males with trans identities WILL NOT be housed in the female prison estate.

This is NOT the case in Australia.

The VicEO+HumanRights responded to communication by WomensForumAustralia, Stassja Frei & myself regarding the male sex offender in a womens prison based on their “gender identity”.

At this stage, it appears as though the male sex offender is not going anywhere, namely the male estate, fast.

Is more Australian media going to report on the male who claims to be a woman facing child sex abuse charges or is there a reason why they are avoiding this story?

I’m running out of words to describe my astonishment. Just over 3 weeks after #MahsaAmini ’s death, women are defiantly walking on the streets of #Tehran , with no hijab…while cars are honking in their supports. Mahsa couldn’t have imagined how she changed life for many Iranians.
