So while you can be grateful you found early readers, don't be so grateful you take their comments blindly. Make sure they fit into your vision and you can make them work in a way that works for you. In the end, it is going to be your name on the cover!

Ask yourself these question first: do you agree with it? Does it fit with your vision? If not, can you make it fit? Do you even want to? When I edit, I make it clear my notes are to help authors implement their vision - but not every reader can or does read that way.
