BTD 1885 the virtuoso Paraguayan guitarist and composer Agustin Barrios. I had the pleasure to try one of his concert guitars on a trip to Paraguay several years ago. It was made the Valencia luthier Andres Marin in the early 1900's, and had been restored when I played it.

For #InternationalWomensDay Alfonsina y el Mar by Ariel Ramirez. A tribute to Alfonsina Storni (1892-1938) one of the most prominent female voices & poets in Latin America. Tragically she took her own life in the sea. The guitar's made by French female luthier Amélie Bouvret.
