I’m increasingly falling out of love with football. 20 of the 700+ teams that play in the FA Cup have decided that a potential 4 extra replays is too much, despite travelling the world pre-season to play other Prem teams in friendly tournaments. Those replays SAVE football clubs.

This is an absolute disgrace. The world's oldest and greatest cup competition becoming a lot less great, purely to satisfy the rich at the very top. The exact opposite of the democracy that has made the competition make millions fall in love with football for over 150 years.

If anything screams the need for an independent regulator today, it’s this.
