Yoni Freedhoff, MD Just left there. Daughter smacked her head and neck at school. Was concerned enough that we went. Absolute Zoo. Wait time doesn’t take into account the 25+ people in front of me in the triage line. Looking for services elsewhere even if I have to pay! System is broken.

If you send antisemitic messages and threats because of X - it’s not because of X.

You were always antisemitic and just needed an excuse to express it.

71% of American Jews say the far left represents an antisemitic threat (ajc.org/AntisemitismRe…).

To portray antisemitism as a problem that only exists on the right is to exploit Jew-hatred for partisan purposes while excusing the antisemitism of the left.

Reject this.

Not that it matters because the distinction is purposely used to minimize given the impact COVID can have on so many conditions and the random long term risks (not to mention future unknowns), but in CHEO right now, the portion that are incidental are 12.5%.

It's 7:57am. A parent and their sick child have been waiting in CHEO's ER since 4:16pm yesterday afternoon and have yet to be seen by an MD (actually likely since 2:30pm since time it takes to get triaged/registered not included)

Stop comparing children who lived through a once in a lifetime pandemic to those who hadn’t. ‘They’re behind’ Behind who?! Kids from 5 years ago? That world no longer exists.

This is a really great thread that talks about what we've seen and what the limitations are. I'd like to highlight three things.

Exploring means to reopen our office's gym safely. Have a filtration only option that would see it with 28 air changes per hour. Also considering addition of upper-room UV. It's not cheap, but not prohibitively expensive either. Retrofitting like this could be incentivized.
