Our final award of the evening is the The Press People's Choice Award as voted for by local residents. The winner - taking its third award this evening - is Clifford's Tower by English Heritage designed by Hugh Broughton Arch. Congratulations to all our winners.
The 'Best of the Best' Lord Mayor's Award goes to Lowfield Green by City of York Council designed by BDP and built by Wates Group
Energy efficiency, #ecological design and #environmental #conservation are rewarded in the Sustainability Award. Winners: The Creative Centre York St John University by Tate + Co, and the York Bridge Club by Townscape Architects
The two winners of the Open, Communal Space or Public Realm category are The Hudson Quarter on Toft Green designed by Fuse Studios Limited for Palace Capital plc, and The Lodge/Extern House at St Joseph's Convent designed by Mesh Architects
The John Shannon Award for Conservation and/or Restoration goes to two of #york 's landmark buildings: The York Guildhall designed by BFFarchitects for City of York Council, and Clifford's Tower by Hugh Broughton Arch for English Heritage
A hotel and a bed & breakfast residence are the two winners of the Commercial category: monkbridgehouseyork B&B by Native Architects, and Moxy Hotels #york by CSPArchitects
There are two winners in the Community/Education category: York St John University's Creative Centre designed by Tate + Co and built by Kier Construction, and The Harriet Centre York Cemetery, UK by PPIY architects +
The Residential - Multiple Dwellings category had 8 excellent entries and two winners Lowfield Green designed by BDP for City of York Council and built by Wates Group, and The Lodge/Extern House at St Joseph's Covent designed by Mesh Architects
The winner of the Residential - Single Dwellings category goes to Cloister Garth in Marygate designed by the Mitchell Design Consultancy and built by Stone Edge North
