Had a great day yesterday kicking off #BritishScienceWeek volunteering at the 'Thanks for the Memories' event with University of Oxford & RNCM PRiSM! An exciting engagement event with local school students, composing music inspired by immunology🧪🎶, can’t wait to hear the results!

Tomorrow night! 27 brand new pieces written by students from four Co-op Academies, performed by Royal Northern College of Music musicians. Can’t wait to celebrate the achievements of these amazing young composers! It’s been a joy to mentor them through this process as part of Thanks for the Memories 🎶 🏆 🎵

Tomorrow night International Contemporary Ensemble premiere ‘It’s the Algorithm’, a surrealist look at the children of AI, nanotech & gene editing. Marvellously told through the dramatic performances of Alice teyssier and danlippel, with opinions on the matter provided by the ensemble via AI 🤖🎶

Excited for the premiere of “HuuM”, the first work in a collaborative series with Emma Clarke. We explore what happens to the physical and linguistic phenomenon of Onomatopoeia in digital and hybrid spaces, through granular synthesis, timbral transfer & live & sampled voices.
