Walking is great for your health but it's not a substitute for strength training.

If you're not strength training then you're doing yourself a disservice and increasing your risk of certain diseases as you age. It's not just about looking good.

A lot of people who don't work out assume you need to be in the gym for 3+ hours per day, 7 days a week to be jacked.
