Dear Deutsche Bahn Personenverkehr (maybe LesenUndTeilen©  🌍 🇪🇺 can shed light?): ~8h trip of some time ago. It seems your systems are capable, even with very full trains, of not exceeding 1.2k ppm too often (ICE to the right). Question: Are they capable of doing better at moderate/full load?

Maybe one of the most important graphs of the pandemic. Human behavior in Spring of 2020 crushed the spread of common pathogens. The idea that nothing can be done about endemic viruses doesn’t hold water. We should remember that with human to human transmission of H5N1 looming.

It is not a human health problem until it suddenly it, but I guess we are all used to decision makers being 'surprised' about viruses doing virus things

World Health Summit Dr Bronwyn King AO However, pretty much all of the ‘personal protection’ approach described above is a stop-gap solution, until clean indoor air standards are developed and implemented. We are going through the equivalent of a ‘boiling our own water’ period for indoor air. In high income countries,

EIFY Yes, we showed a bit about blood vessel disruption in this paper from Oct 2022.
But I have a lot more new data I will be showing at the unitetofight2024.world meeting online next month if you are interested :)

Very concerning. Could be other animals around farms dying also. Not sure anyone is tracking.

Genomic sequences of virus from these dead cats & cows on same farm would be enlightening.

⚠️Very important study + thread by Al Haddrell.

CO2 conc. plays an even more important role in airborne transmission than previously thought.

We knew for centuries that high indoor CO2 indicates poor ventilation, but it also extends the TIME viruses in aerosols remain infectious!

Safe indoor air isn’t just about sars-2. It’s about preventing other diseases that are already here, as well as future emergences. You’re not going to handwash your way out of an H5N1 pandemic.

Last year, we built a page on influenza and we are keeping it continuously up-to-date.

We did it for two reasons:
1) The flu is a bad disease, killing about 700,000 people in an average year.

2) We were looking at what was happening to h5n1 and thought it might be helpful if we

Went to the dentist yesterday. Universal masking. All staff N95. Patients in surgical or better. Air filters in each room. UV filtration system in the ceiling. It can be done. Any smart dentist would make a small investment for more business & better health.

I will say once more that those of us supporting need to support one another. Makes me sad to see the level of division that is happening. Let's stop. If not, recognize that you are choosing the infectious virus wins.

We just updated our data on electrical vehicles:
ourworldindata.org/electric-car-s…

Here is one datapoint: 93% of all new vehicles sold in Norway last year were electric.

When error correction is not possible, unnecessary harm will eventually be done. Here at scale World Health Organization (WHO).

This problem needs to be addressed across all sectors of society. Nowadays, decisions made by those in power have ever broader and more immediate effects, and these

Hospital Infection Control Guidance for SARS by World Health Organization (WHO) in 2003.

In contrast to this pandemic, World Health Organization (WHO) advised at the time:

👉Airborne precautions
👉“N95 mask as a minimum”

Why did World Health Organization (WHO) “forget” this in 2020?
