For me it started slow married at 20 then accelerated w/ two kids at 25 & added 2 more kids w/ medical & developmental needs after that. Mix in a religious system where giving up identity is righteous & at 34 I didn't want to live anymore. I'm better(ish) now, but it was bad.

When someone with chronic illness tells you they are fatigued please understand that it is different from ordinary tiredness.

Our fatigue means we are drained, physically, mentally, and emotionally to our core .

We have nothing left in us .

Trying to function with fatigue…

8) Up to 20% of US population has experienced “long covid.”

This = ⬆️ societal healthcare and economic (eg workforce) costs. And by definition, this number will keep going up. We ignore this at our peril.

It’s why we simply can’t pretend Covid is “over.”
