Enjoyed reading this post on the recent alignment improvements to u128/i128 types on x86 architectures in Rust. codspeed.io/blog/rust-1-78…

Created my first Neovim plugin to enable me to easily jump from a line in my buffer to the highlighted line in GitHub. Also allows me to jump to commits in GH via Telescope git_commits.

Writing my first Neovim plugin and I have a question. Generally speaking, do people tend to prefer plugins to have default keyboard, or just a set of functions/commands they can map keys to themselves?

Starting to see far more pointless questions being asked in Twitter later lately. Is it cynical of me to assume these are engagement farming tweets?

Keys switched to Colemak DH (can toggle between that and qwerty) and practice session 1 begins. I figure if I can spend 45 mins a night it should take too long, right?

Switching to a split keyboard really has made me realise how inefficient the QWERTY layout is, leading me to consider switching to Colemak DH. Has anyone made the switch before and if so how long did it take you?

I gotta say, it’s nice to see modern languages like Kotlin, Go, Rust and Zig favouring types to the right of variables etc instead of the left. I’ve always found it reads much nicer and is ordered in the way I think about them as I define them.

I thought this was a pretty interesting post looking at the incremental performance improvements to Go from version 1.0 to 1.22. benhoyt.com/writings/go-ve…

Was anyone else on the edge of their seat watching the recent 'The Sign' episode of Bluey? That coin changed everything.
