Last week African Development and Advocacy Centre, AFRIDAC facilitated a 5 day Appreciative Leadership & Advocacy training in Crete, Greece. Participants learnt about appreciative inquiry, leadership and the work of a community advocate. More importantly, 10 advocacy leaders emerged from the experience.
Last Saturday with the African Development and Advocacy Centre, AFRIDAC team and Hackney Councillors talking about locally-led police accountability and scrutiny. Our ANAGO project will support African and Caribbean residents in Hackney and address gaps in the provision of culturally appropriate mental health service.
