Strengthening Partnerships and collaborations remains pivotal to Ahaki's work.
Based on that, Ahaki had a conversation with Marielle Bemelmans, the Executive Director of @wemos, on possible areas of collaboration toward harnessing Africa's potential in Health, Human Rights and SRHR.

Thanks. Indeed, an observation from my research (which had to be desk research due to time constraints) is that there isn't enough research on the effect of our abortion law and SRHR in general. I found some interesting papers by orgs like Afya na Haki and HRAPF though.

Despite the availability of COVID-19 vaccines in Uganda, the vaccine uptake has been low among the population for various reasons.
Together with other CSO partners, we held a validation meeting to discuss the findings of the study we conducted on Vaccine Hesitancy in Uganda.

We were pleased to attend the launch of Emily Bass 's passion-filled and exceptionally well-written book, To End A Plague: America's Fight to End AIDS in Africa.
It was a moment to reflect on how far we have come as a country fighting HIV/AIDS and how far we still have to go.
