When this many people are facing the same types of struggles at the same time, we don’t have an epidemic of personal failure. We have national structural issues that we can solve together. *Solutions include an expanded CTC, childcare, fair pay, HCBS, PFML. #ChildTaxCreditForUS

The Child Tax Credit (CTC) allows people to afford food, housing, and childcare so they can take care of their families and go to work - and it boosts the economy too. The House passed the expanded CTC; and the Senate must do so ASAP too! #ChildTaxCreditForUS

If we want the best economy in the world, we have to have the best caregiving economy.

But the cost of care is too high, and pay for care workers is too low.

Our nation’s caregivers are heroes – we need them – and under my budget, they're going to get the dignity they deserve.

It's not enough to praise our care workers, we have to pay them.
