Food is responsible for 1/3 of global GHG emissions. Fixing the food system helps solve the problem. At #COP28 , we unveiled ambitious grants to cut livestock emissions, trace cattle and safeguard forests as part of our $1 billion commitment to transforming food systems.

The response to the Global Stocktake is the most important outcome from COP28. The COP began with a resounding affirmation at leaders' level of the role of food in tackling climate change. It needs to close with an equally compelling signal in the GST of this fact.
