Thank God, I've just started reading Alice Notley's 'Being Reflected Upon.'

With the new book coming out early next year, for once I'm going to try to tour a li'l bit. So, if anybody is hoping to watch me desperately try to figure out how squish an epic into the space of a half-hour reading--furrowed brow for days--HMU.

Next February, FSG will publish my next book of poems, “New and Collected Hell!” It’s “The Hell Poem” expanded to a 100+ page narrative epic, and it starts with this poem, “Invocation.” I figured--when am I gonna get another chance to invoke the muses at the beginning of an epic?
