Ward’s Trogon is a scarce bird of the Eastern Himalayas. The pictured male was seen in the remote Eagle’s Nest Wildlife Sanctuary in the Indian province of Arunachal Pradesh. The painting was used as the cover artwork for the Birds of Bhutan

I highly recommend reading this post that goes into the major differences and bits regarding Shizuka, actually a really nice look into how much of her was changed and how much there is even if it doesn't happen often in the animated adaptations
