Diving at Cheeca Rocks in Islamorada this past Tuesday and water temps were already at 86F, which is typically reached in August. Coral coloration looked healthy when NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Lab Coral Program monitored, but this may serve as our “before” pictures for another mass bleaching event.
