Sometimes my comics build up to a big climax that I realize last minute I don't actually want to draw, so I just make a joke and deescalate it and then build up to a different climax that I also will not want to draw lol

Falling asleep with one cat sprawled over me, wake up to a different cat in the same spot, wake up again to them cuddling and grooming, wake up again even later to them play-fighting on top of me. I never get a full night's sleep anymore, but I finally know true happiness ❤️

this trend of 'creator you love who was just making fun stuff but couldn't handle being verbally abused every single day over it quits making stuff and disappears' is going to continue repeating itself unless we choose to stop it. fuck.
