Just finished reading this fascinating book on the Temple Tales of Uttarakhand by my batchmate Aradhana Johri. Uttarakhand is referred to as the "Devbhumi"- Land of the God’s due to its religious significance and the vast no of Hindu temples and pilgrimage centres. As she says
