Really enjoyed #GreatExpectations at Royal Exchange Theatre last night. Congratulations to all involved. Especially enjoyed the precise attention to detail in costume and the nuance of intra-racial-social politics that comes through when global majority creatives tell their own stories.

Went to see this last night. Not my natural jam as it’s a v text-y play but 24 hrs later, it’s still really resonating.
Somehow the psychological ugliness at its core has seeped into my bones like the sticky black oily water suggested by that sexy, reflective floor. Shudder-y.
