Found near Hayscastle in Pembrokeshire in 1840, Crudwell-Smerrick type axes are usually only found in the east of the UK. They are believed to be earlier Neolithic. The axe was found in a turf moor which may indicate it was ritually deposited. Now on display in Tenby Museum and Art π
