As a coach, the question that I ask myself is: when the physical & tactical skills & the accomplishments of sport are gone, what are the mental, emotional, energetic and physical seeds that I can help to plant, water and care for?

“Perspective is a state of mind" suggests that our outlook on the world is intricately connected to our mindset (and hearts). It implies that the lens through which we see situations, events, or challenges is not fixed but shaped by the internal state of our minds.

When leaders embody values like understanding, compassion, and constructive communication, they create an atmosphere conducive to the holistic growth of athletes - spiritually, psychologically and physically.

I participated in various sports throughout my youth, but badminton became my main focus. Or it was, until Grade 12, that I had the opportunity to play on a younger but more skilled and committed soccer team.

We have become so disconnected from our own Inner Nature, from the Love and the guidance that urging us to live life in a more positive way. If we want to be happier, healthier and more peaceful then we must embark on a process to live fully from this Truth within ourselves.

As leaders, we need to be able to identify what our teams need to know, what they need to do, and then support their development to bridge that gap. #leadership #leadershipdevelopment #teamwork #coaching #lead #development #tedx #soccer #sport #business

As my teacher says, “You cannot change what you cannot see," thus, as leaders, we need to begin by observing ourselves and then reflect on the qualities that we see, where they come from and how they impact the people within our lives.

Grounded in the principles of transformational leadership, my primary focus centres on building ethical & purpose-based leadership. I help people cultivate what we all need to develop within our lives, whether in the sports, educational, organizational or corporate settings.

Only sports led thoughtfully & ethically will foster the growth & development that we are after. So, we need to be very discerning about the type of leadership within the organization we become involved in & the climate & culture being created there.
