I absolutely agree with this and I’ll be signing. Smart motorways are dangerous and I don’t enjoy driving on them. I’m spending quite a lot of time on the M62 to/from West Yorkshire at the moment and I prefer stretches where there’s a hard shoulder available.

Between rail replacement shifts this week, I’ve explored Halifax - a town of contrasts. I like the way they’ve redeveloped some of the old mills & the Piece Hall is beautiful but there are some run down parts & concrete flyovers which don’t sit well with the industrial heritage.

We had a lovely weekend away in Nottingham, including a visit to the Kitty Café and a trip on a train which is heading to the playoffs and not automatic promotion.

Surprising decision? So it was playoffs or bust. This seems very harsh when the consensus seemed to be that Rosenior was building a squad which could challenge at the top.

Maybe the same folk who kept saying Ipswich would wither away and couldn’t possibly get promoted. Never doubt this manager, this club and this team. 💙

Amidst the promotion celebrations, can I say how sorry I am to see Huddersfield relegated. I have a friend who’s a fan and I have a soft spot for them. I hope they bounce back.
