Excited to finally be able to share this news, I am overjoyed to have been awarded the John C. Marsden medal from The Linnean Society of London. I am honoured to be on this list alongside the other incredible medal recipients, especially my former office mate Anne-Claire Fabre!

Evolutionary biologist Prof Dr Anne-Claire Fabre (Anne-Claire Fabre) is our 2024 Bicentenary Medal winner! Her work on functional morphology focuses on shape evolution in an ecological context across vertebrate animals.

I love #ScienceWeek , especially as it means I get to visit my favourite kids Fircroft Primary and see how excited they all are about nature and palaeontology. I’m always so impressed with how much they know and the great questions they ask!

This is such a important thread. Agree 100%. I’ve even been told by other PoCs that my experience and perspective aren’t relevant for attendees at PoC networking events because of precisely this perception. This division is so false and hurtful and serves no purpose at all.
