I’m honored to be recognized as a champion of outdoor recreation by the Appalachian Mtn Club. Having grown up in NH spending my summers kayaking and winters skiing, I know firsthand that outdoor recreation and winter sports are cornerstones of our economy and Granite State way of life.

Today we celebrate 60 yrs of the LWCF Coalition! Maine’s stunning public lands, from Acadia to Sebago Lake, owe so much to #LWCF. Proud to have co-sponsored its permanent funding and helped pass the Great American Outdoors Act. Let’s keep protecting our natural treasures!🌲🌊

I thought I was in *okay* shape and then I hiked Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. But it was beautiful and worth it. Check out the Presidential Range and stay with the nice people at Joe Dodge Lodge in Pinkham Notch. And join Appalachian Mtn Club. Such a great organization.
We were thrilled to celebrate the tremendous impact of LWCF Coalition on conservation and recreation in Massachusetts with Rep. Jim McGovern last week. Let's keep conserving our public lands and outdoor recreation! #LWCF60
AMC Researchers have been collecting seeds from alpine plants in the Presidential Range and Franconia Ridge. This project, in collaboration with University of Vermont, University of Maine, and Bennington College, will test how these plants respond to future scenarios to study their climate resiliency. 🌱
