In a busy news week, it’s vital this significant report by Dr. Aisling Swaine is not overlooked. The courage of those who told their stories is humbling. A difficult but critical read if we’re serious collectively about understanding what it takes to break cycles of linked violence.

No victim should ever be expected to negotiate with their abuser to gain their safety. We need to work consistently across Govt to strip these gangsters and gatekeepers of any status in the community. We must never legitimise coercive controllers as "community leaders".
