In a world of ever changing attitudes and acceptance, Travellers and Romany are still in the same place as we were 500 years ago. Hated for being who we are. Rejected for being what others deem different. Attacked by laws and people in power. Pushed to the periphery of society.

Today, the EHRC has set out the steps Pontins Holiday Parks must take to address their discriminatory policies against Irish Travellers, including a formal apology and a program of engagement with Friends, Families & Travellers

It's a first step, and the rest of the holiday park industry will need to examine itself, but it is at least a first step...
