CSOs in S/Leone are calling for the conclusion of a tribunal investigating the Auditor-General and one of her Deputies. BAN, 50/50 Group, ILRAJ, and SLAG, urge the tribunal to deliver its decision, as the delay threatens accountability and transparency.

BAN held a two-day training workshop in Port Loko, Sierra Leone, targeting female councilors, women's community groups, and finance officers. The workshop discussed 2021 Audit Reports and improved compliance with recommendations. The project, funded by Irish Aid.

With support from EU in Sierra Leone through NAO, the BAN Coordinator on 3/12/2023 partook in a side event titled; 'Sovereign Debt' The Elephant in the Room of Climate Finance, where he presented SL debt situation on the need for debt cancellation to address climate change.
