The UNC-Chapel Hill BOT has voted to remove funding for DEI initiatives. It wants to reallocate $2.3 million to public safety. Several board members noted a resource need for law enforcement to “protect the campus” following recent campus protests. More WUNC: wunc.org/education/2024…
