This morning my partner had tears in her eyes recalling Stuart Beatch's new composition 'Girl Hours', a setting of Sofia Samatar's sublime poem (read here: stonetelling.com/issue6-dec2011…). I have to agree - not only does Stuart *get* poetry, he writes SO beautifully for singers!
