Remarkable work over the last seven years, something I'd say even if I weren't biased. Present and future researchers of beer and brewing will have a rich sandbox to explore at National Museum of American History as a result. šŸ‘‡

Liberty Ale, a forerunner to the IPA style of beer, was first brewed by Anchor Brewing Company in 1975 to commemorate Paul Revereā€™s ride through the Massachusetts countryside.

It hung in the brewhouse until this summer when it was donated to our museum.

Talk about unheralded designers--Gordon designed one of the most famous and widely-recognized logos of the twentieth century! Paul Rand levels of graphic design impact.

The history of Anchor Brewing Co. exemplifies much of our national history of beer. Its revitalization changed the course of the industry. It is moving and humbling to help preserve this story. history Press release here: americanhistory.si.edu/press/releasesā€¦

For 2 months I've been bursting to share this news: National Museum of American History has collected the business records & a rich selection of artifacts from Anchor Brewing Co., to preserve and make this history accessible to researchers and the public, long into the future.

Treat yourself. Frank Lloyd Wright's stunning F. C. Bogk house is on the market in Milwaukee. Amazing how well-kept it is. If you buy it, please buy the furniture too! bogkhouse.com

Good start to the day: saw a toddler on the back of his dadā€™s bike holding a Bluetooth speaker playing We Will Rock You (holding it up to his ear, no less).
