Thought Bochy managed it well. But it's exactly why Hinch's lineup construction is so important. Before the game even starts you can envision the opposing manager getting put in a lose-lose situation.

Fun managerial chess match, but gonna say Bochy wins by not giving AJ the McKinstry pinch-hit opportunity. Instead gets Carp out of the game. However, it worked out, because baseball.

Whew. Gio Urshela with a big RBI single and the Tigers have a 3-2 lead in the eighth. GET MORE PLEASE.

Lange and Chafin do the job, with latter carving up Semien and Seager both, and the top of the Tigers' order is up to bat in the eighth. Better get it done now.
