Last week, the MPO was notified that we've been awarded a $7.5M Safe Streets for All grant from U.S. Department of Transportation to support the implementation of our Vision Zero Action Plan. This is in addition to the $2.7M in funding received to develop the plan. Learn more: bostonmpo.org/SS4A-Grant-2

MPO staff will collaborate with municipalities in the Boston region to conduct additional planning projects, crash analysis, and roadway safety audits and fund, design, and implement quick-build traffic calming projects such as speed humps and high-visibility crosswalks.
