Kamila Naxerova Caleb Lareau Agreed - for me this is the key issue with the idea that detection of rare mtDNA variants might improve lineage tracing. Our work suggests that these variants are fickle & lost in the majority of a cell's progeny over fairly short time-scales.

I appreciate the notification, but this will remind everyone why it is upsetting to only have access to AlphaFold 3 via a web server. All software has bugs. If the AlphaFold 3 code was available, someone would have noticed much sooner that template information was not provided.
