Our Head of Cooperation Caroline Adriaensen today joined Ministry of Lands,Housing and Urban Development State Minister Hon. Obiga Kania, to commission new offices for customary land registry in Northern Uganda 🇺🇬, financed by the EU 🇪🇺 under our @OPMDINU1 programme, along with our implementing partner UNCDF.

The new office will deliver customary certificates to help protect the interests of members of a family or clan that collectively own land. With titles, owners can use their land as collateral when accessing credit. The certificates will also define boundaries & reduce conflicts.
