As a Senator, I led efforts to require the federal government to develop heat safety rules for workers. Today, the Biden-Harris Administration announced new actions that will help protect 36 million workers from extreme heat conditions.

No one should be denied access to opportunity because of a medical emergency. President Biden and I are taking action so that medical debt can’t be included in credit scores, which will ensure millions of Americans —like Venison and Tyesha— can grow their business, buy a home, and more.

Hopefully, with age, I’ve demonstrated a little bit of wisdom. Here’s what I know:
