So STOKED for our next #AstroOnTap DC9 on January 23rd which will be a Planetary Defense edition! Andy Rivkin, Nancy Chabot, and Carolyn Ernst from Johns Hopkins APL will talk about plans to planet Earth from asteroid collisions and the success of the DART mission.

Nailed it! The SOAR Telescope in Chile, operated by @NOIRLabastro, captured the more than 10,000 kilometers of trail left behind after NASA's DART spacecraft hit Dimorphos.
