The National Emergency Medical Team (N-EMT) has arrived in Nkhotakota to support delivery of critical care & other services in hard to reach areas. WHOMalawi has today handed over 48 sets of Pediatric Severe Acute Malnutrition kits worth MK62,230,980 to Ministry of Health, Malawi . PEDSAM kits are crucial to Malawi's healthcare system, they provide effective treatment & care of children suffering from malnutrition, as well as malaria.

Ministry of Health, Malawi has declared the end of the cholera outbreak in #Malawi, having recorded no new cholera case in 4 weeks. Secretary for Health Samson Mndolo indicates, through a statement, that the development means all transmission chains of the disease have been interrupted.
