What a wonderful event!  It was both humbling and inspiring to attend the second annual Rosa Parks Gala and be immersed in Montgomery’s rich American history this weekend.  Thank you Rep. Terri A. Sewell for your friendship and warm hospitality!

I was honored to be recognized by Southern Youth Leadership Development Institute at the Second Annual Rosa Parks Gala this weekend. I was inspired by fellow nominees, eight other women who embody the legacy of Rosa Parks and her activism in pursuit of racial equity and freedom for all.

I joined the Black Excellence in Energy speaker series at Morgan State University, through BGE’s University Partnerships program. This series fosters relationships with the area’s HBCUs & encourages students to pursue opportunities in our industry. Excited to see what the future holds!

Investment in school bus electrification through federal and state mandates, along with programs supported by industry leaders like Exelon, would save nine million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions per year and power equity in underserved communities.
